last week, i can't remember what day, i went to the Art Gallery in LONDON. I saw actual paintings done by artists like, Paul Cezanne, Leonardo da Vinci, Pablo Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh and loads more. Alot of the paintings date back 500 years! When i went into the gallerys, i was shocked how the only thing seperating you and the picture is a rope thing.. someone could easily ruin one, they were all in touching reach! Some people think 'ugh art gallerys are boring' but i was like, BUZZING when i saw all these real paintings. Some of them were HUGE! To think someone had painted something that amazing that many years ago its like WOW.
I saw the Sunflowers :'D
Also, walking around, it made me wonder how people could manage to steal these paintings because i know of paintings like the Mona Lisa and Scream getting stolen. I know they weren't stolen at the gallery in London, but it's the same sort of thing. Another thing, why do many of these artists have names like, van der, van den, van de in them? HMM.
Anyway, yeah i went to the art gallery in london and loved it :D
